Propeller Shaft Assembly - Installation
Align the matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and transfer.
Propeller Shaft Assembly - Reassembly
Apply MP grease to a new spider and new bearings.
Propeller Shaft Assembly - Inspection
Using a dial indicator, measure the propeller shaft runout.
- Maximum runout:
- 0.8 mm (0.031 in.)
If the shaft runout is more than the maximum, replace the shaft.
Propeller Shaft Assembly - Disassembly
Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft and sleeve yoke.
Propeller Shaft Assembly - Removal
Remove the 4 bolts and insulator.
