The height control sensor changes its resistance value based on changes in vehicle height. The suspension control ECU outputs a fixed voltage of 5 V to the SHB terminal of the height control sensor. If the sensor resistance value changes, the sensor voltage value changes accordingly. The suspension control ECU then receives the voltage value from the sensor to detect the vehicle height change.

Turn the engine switch off.

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

If a malfunction is detected in the active height control suspension, the master warning light illuminates, and "Check 4-WHEEL AHC System" is displayed on the multi-information display.

Turn the engine switch off.

If replacing the suspension control ECU and/or height control sensor, perform the vehicle height offset calibration.

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
