Temporarily install the suspension upper arm with the 2 washers, bolt and nut.

Pack the upper arm ball joint with MP grease.

As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut.

Using a hammer and chisel, strike and bend the entire flange of the upper arm bush as shown in the illustration.

Detach the clamp, and disconnect the connector from the protector.

Set the front shock absorber assembly on its side.

Temporarily install the upper side of the shock absorber to the chassis frame with the 4 nuts.

Secure SST in a vise.

Compress and extend the shock absorber rod 4 times or more. Check that there is no abnormal resistance or unusual sound during the operation.
