  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

  3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET

  12. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

  13. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT BRACKET

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 RETAINER BRACKET

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 1 RETAINER BRACKET

  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Front Bumper -- Removal



1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  1. Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.

  1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

  1. Detach the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.



2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

  1. Put protective tape around the fog light cover.

  1. Using the screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the fog light cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper hole cover.

  1. Using the screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  1. Remove the 6 screws and 3 clips.

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

  1. Remove the 2 screws, 2 bolts and 5 clips.

  1. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
    Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose, and then drain the washer fluid.

    HINT:
    Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

  1. w/ Fog Light:
    Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

  1. Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper cover.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Remove the 4 clips, 5 bolts and No. 1 engine under cover.



8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper reinforcement extension.



9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper reinforcement.



11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET
HINT:
Use the same procedure for both front bumper mounting brackets.

  1. Remove the bolt and front bumper mounting bracket.



12. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Remove the 2 clips.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector.



13. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT BRACKET

  1. Remove the bolt and front bumper reinforcement bracket.



15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 RETAINER BRACKET


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Remove the bolt and front bumper No. 2 retainer bracket.



16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 1 RETAINER BRACKET
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the front bumper No. 2 retainer bracket.


17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Remove the screw and bolt.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support.



18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
