Steering Pad Switch Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-information Display)

  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH LH (w/o Multi-information Display)

Steering Pad Switch -- Removal


CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS before servicing (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XFD0EGX.html).


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000004W63000X.html).


2. REMOVE STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-information Display)


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.Audio Visual.Steering Pad Switch.Steering Pad Switch  Removal
  1. Disconnect the connectors and detach the 2 clamps.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 4 pins and remove the steering pad switch.



4. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH LH (w/o Multi-information Display)
