DESCRIPTION
The sensor connected to the ECM detects the engine coolant temperature, which is used for warm up control when the engine is cold. The sensor sends a signal to the air conditioning amplifier via the ECM.DTC Code

Use the intelligent tester to check if the engine control system is functioning normally.

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - ECM) |
Disconnect the A16 amplifier connector.
Disconnect the E4*1 or E13*2 ECM connector.
- *1: for 1KD-FTV
- *2: for 1GR-FE
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
