Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly Installation

Insert the tip of the adjuster to the pillar, and align the adjuster's bolt hole with the pillar's bolt hole.

Install the bolt as shown in the illustration.

Torque:

42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

Install the plate cover as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Make sure the plate cover is firmly set into the garnish's claws.

Attach the claw and clip to install the garnish.

w/o Pretensioner:
Align the claws with the seat belt positioning holes and install the retractor of the outer belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

Torque:

4.8 N*m{49 kgf*cm, 42 ft.*lbf}

w/ Pretensioner:

1. Align the claws with the seat belt positioning holes and install the retractor of the outer belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.
   

   Torque:

   4.8 N*m{49 kgf*cm, 42 in.*lbf}





2. Connect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
   

Connect the outer belt with the shoulder anchor's bolt.

Torque:

42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

Attach the 4 claws to install the seat belt anchor cover cap.

w/o Pretensioner:
Connect the anchor of the outer belt with the built-in bolt after installing the center pillar garnish lower.

Torque:

42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

w/ Pretensioner:
Connect the anchor of the outer belt with the built-in bolt after installing the center pillar garnish lower.

Torque:

42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

Attach the 2 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

Place the seat in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

w/ Seat belt warning, w/ occupant detection sensor:
Connect the connector under the seat.

Install the seat with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

HINT:

Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
