Rear Speed Sensor -- Removal |
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000002HD2002X.html).
2. REMOVE REAR WHEEL |
3. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH |
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the connector.
Detach the 3 clamps.
Remove the bolt and speed sensor.
- NOTICE:
- Keep the sensor tip and sensor installation hole free from foreign matter.
4. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH |
Detach the connector from the skid control sensor clamp.
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 6 clamps.
Remove the bolt and speed sensor.
- NOTICE:
- Keep the sensor tip and sensor installation hole free from foreign matter.
5. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR CLAMP |
Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp.
