Fuel Pump Control Circuit
Perform active test using intelligent tester (control the fuel pump/speed)
Inspect no. 2 integration relay (c/opn relay)
Check harness and connector (no. 2 integration relay (c/opn relay) - ecm)
Check harness and connector (no. 2 integration relay (c/opn relay - ig2 relay))
Check harness and connector (no. 2 integration relay (c/opn relay) - fuel pump)
Check harness and connector (fuel pump - body ground)
Check ecm power source circuit
Description
When the NE signal is input to the ECM, Tr is turned on, current flows to the coil of the C/OPN (circuit opening) relay, the relay switches on, power is supplied to the fuel pump and the fuel pump operates. While the NE signal is generated (engine running), the ECM keeps Tr on (C/OPN relay on) and the fuel pump also keeps operating.
