DESCRIPTION
A maximum of 5 master key codes and 3 sub key codes (for Mexico) can be registered.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the key and transponder key ECU assembly, refer to the Registration (YARIS_NCP93 RM00000120Y021X.html).
1.CHECK REGISTRATION MODE |
Check that the system enters registration mode.
- OK:
- System enters registration mode
2.CHECK THEFT WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT OPERATION |
In the registration mode, when the key inserted in ignition key cylinder, check that the theft warning indicator light assembly.
- HINT:
- If the new key code registration fails, code 2-1 will be output through the theft warning indicator light assembly. Trying to re-register an already registered key will cause code 2-2 to be output when the key is inserted. If the number of registered key codes exceeds the maximum limit, code 2-3 will be output through the theft warning indicator light assembly. The output details are shown below.

3.READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM |
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser / Data List.
According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

Inspect the unlock warning switch assembly (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001GD201RX.html).
6.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY - UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY) |
Disconnect the D111 unlock warning switch assembly connector.
Disconnect the D139 transponder key ECU assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
