DESCRIPTION

A maximum of 5 master key codes and 3 sub key codes (for Mexico) can be registered.

NOTICE:
When replacing the key and transponder key ECU assembly, refer to the Registration (YARIS_NCP93 RM00000120Y021X.html).
1.CHECK REGISTRATION MODE

  1. Check that the system enters registration mode.

    OK:
    System enters registration mode

2.CHECK THEFT WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT OPERATION


  1. In the registration mode, when the key inserted in ignition key cylinder, check that the theft warning indicator light assembly.

    HINT:
    If the new key code registration fails, code 2-1 will be output through the theft warning indicator light assembly. Trying to re-register an already registered key will cause code 2-2 to be output when the key is inserted. If the number of registered key codes exceeds the maximum limit, code 2-3 will be output through the theft warning indicator light assembly. The output details are shown below.

6.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY - UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

  1. Disconnect the D111 unlock warning switch assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the D139 transponder key ECU assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
