DTC C1443 Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor


DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via the CAN communication system.

Both of the following is condition is met.
  1. With the IG1 terminal voltage between 9.5 and 17.4 V.
  2. An invalid data signal is transmitted continuously from the acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more.

  1. With the IG1 terminal voltage between 9.5 and 17.4 V.
  2. An invalid data signal is transmitted continuously from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHR07EX.html).
1.CHECK DTC
  1. Clear the DTCs (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHV0D3X.html).

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Start the engine and idle it for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.

  1. Check if the same DTC is output (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHV0D3X.html).
