Front Seat Assembly (For Hatchback Front Passenger Side) Disassembly

Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

w/ Limit Switch:

1. Remove the front seat cushion inner shield. (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001WB001FX_01_0005.html)
   

2. Disconnect the connector.
   





3. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
   

w/o Limit Switch:

1. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
   

Disconnect the 2 connectors.

Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant detection ECU.

Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw to remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion inner shield.

Disconnect the 2 connector.

Disengage the 4 clamps to remove the front seat wire.

Disconnect the seatback cover band.

Unfasten the hook and loop fastener. (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Disengage the 4 hooks.

Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the front seat side airbag wire harness. (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Disengage the 2 hooks.

Disengage the 5 hooks and remove the seat cushion with pad.

Remove the 2 hog rings.

Remove the 14 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw to open the cover.

Slide up the cover.

Remove the 2 screws.

Disengage the clamp and cable end and remove the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

Remove the 3 hog rings.

Remove the 3 hog rings.

Unfasten the 2 zippers. (for Sport Package)

Disengage the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Remove the 2 nuts and the seatback bracket. (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Remove the front seatback cover with pad.

Remove the 6 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

Disengage the 2 clamps.

Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly.

CAUTION:

1. The nuts must not be reused.
   
2. Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
   

Disengage the 4 guides to remove the reclining remote control base.

Disengage the guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

Disengage the guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector RH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector LH.

Separate the casing cap.

Disengage the nipple end and clamp to remove the seatback control cable assembly.

Disengage the 3 clamps and cable end to remove the seatback control cable assembly.

Disengage the 2 clamps and 2 cable end to remove the seat lock control cable assembly.

Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly.

Remove the 2 nuts and the limit switch assembly.

NOTICE:

Because the limit switch assembly is no longer needed, do not reinstall the limit switch assembly after it has been removed.

Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the seat track adjusting handle.
