  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Condition
      		Specified Condition
      1 - 2
      		Switch pin released
      		Below 1 Ω
      3 - 4
      		10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 2
      		Switch pin pushed in
      		10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 4
      		Below 1 Ω
      If the result is not as specified, replace the stop light switch.
