INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK FUSE (ECU-B, MET)


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131.Meter Gauge Display.Meter / Gauge System (For Sedan).Meter / Gauge System (For Sedan) Entire Combination Meter Does Not Operate

  1. Remove the ECU-B fuse from the engine room relay block.

  1. Remove the MET fuse from the main body ECU.

  1. Measure the resistance.

    Standard Resistance:
    Below 1Ω

  1. Reinstall the fuse.

CHECK SHORT CIRCUIT IN COMPONENTS AND WIRES CONNECTED TO FUSE

2.INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the D1 combination meter connector.

  1. Measure the resistance.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    D1-24 (ET) - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω

  1. Measure the voltage.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    D1-1 (IG2) - Body ground
    		Ignition switch ON
    		11 to 14V
    D1-2 (ECU-B) - Body ground
    		Always
    		11 to 14V

  1. Reconnect the combination meter connector.

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK
