Front Stabilizer Bar (For Hatchback) Inspection

As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times before installing the nut.

Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 0.25 to 0.5 turns per seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.

Torque:

0.05 to 1.96 N*m{0.51 to 19.99 kgf*cm, 0.44 to 17.35 in.*lbf}

Check for any cracks and grease leakage on the ball joint dust cover.
