AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM (for Sedan) - CD cannot be Inserted / Played or CD is Ejected Right After Insertion


INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK CD

  1. Make sure that the CD is a normal audio CD, and that it is not deformed, flawed, stained, burred or otherwise defective.

    OK:
    Normal audio CD.
    HINT:
    Translucent or uniquely-shaped CDs cannot be played.

2.CHECK THAT CD HAS BEEN INSERTED PROPERLY

  1. Check whether or not the CD was inserted upside down.

    OK:
    CD was properly inserted.

3.CLEAN CD

  1. Clean the disc by wiping the CD's dataside radially with a soft cloth.

    OK:
    Malfunction disappears.
    NOTICE:
    Do not use a conventional record cleaner or anti-static preservative.

4.OPERATION USING ANOTHER CD

  1. Replace the CD with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.

    OK:
    Malfunction disappears.
