DTC B1000/31 Center Airbag Sensor Assembly Malfunction


DESCRIPTION

The center airbag sensor assembly consists of a deceleration sensor, safing sensor, drive circuit, diagnosis circuit, ignition control, etc.
If the center airbag sensor assembly receives signals from the deceleration sensor, it determines whether or not the SRS should be activated.
DTC B1000/31 is set when a malfunction is detected in the center airbag sensor assembly.

  1. Check for DTCs (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XFE0D2X.html).

NOTICE:
If only DTC B1000/31 is output, do not clear the DTCs, replace the center airbag sensor assembly.
HINT:
If any DTCs other than DTC B1000/31 are also output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.
