CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM (w/o Entry and Start System) - ECU Power Source Circuit


DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the transponder key ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT FUSE (ECU-B2)

  1. Remove the ECU-B2 fuse from the No. 2 relay block.

  1. Measure the resistance of the fuse.

    Standard resistance:
    Below 1 Ω


NG
REPLACE FUSE
OK


2.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the E50 ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    E50-16 (GND) - Body ground
    		Below 1 Ω
    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    E50-1 (+B) - Body ground
    		11 to 14 V
