Blower Unit Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  4. REMOVE AIR DUCT

  5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

  6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

  7. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT ASSEMBLY

Blower Unit -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.


2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  1. Remove the upper instrument panel (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHD00JX.html).



3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  1. Remove the lower instrument panel (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHJ00GX.html).



4. REMOVE AIR DUCT


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the air duct.



5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

  1. Remove the air conditioning unit (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000017ZR01IX_01_0026.html).



6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

  1. Remove the air conditioning unit (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000017ZR01IX_01_0026.html).



7. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT ASSEMBLY


Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Remove the 3 screws and blower.
