Glow Plug Controller Removal
PRECAUTION
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH
REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER
REMOVE NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET
REMOVE NO. 2 GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET
Glow Plug Controller -- Removal |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH |
Remove the 2 clips and 4 screws.
Remove the front fender mudguard.
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the bolt and 3 screws from the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.
Detach the 12 grommets and remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.
- HINT:
- The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.
5. REMOVE GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER |
Disconnect the 4 connectors and clamp.
Remove the 2 nuts and glow plug controller from the vehicle.
6. REMOVE NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET |
Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 glow plug controller bracket from the glow plug controller.
7. REMOVE NO. 2 GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET |
Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 glow plug controller bracket from the glow plug controller.
