Oil Pressure Switch Removal


  1. REMOVE RESONATOR WITH AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE

  3. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP OIL INLET HOSE

  4. REMOVE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Oil Pressure Switch -- Removal



1. REMOVE RESONATOR WITH AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

  1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the resonator with air cleaner cap.

  1. Detach the 4 hook clamps, and then remove the air cleaner cap and resonator with air cleaner cap.



2. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE
  1. Remove the dipstick.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and dipstick guide.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the dipstick guide.



3. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP OIL INLET HOSE

  1. Remove the union bolt and gasket, and then disconnect the vacuum pump oil inlet hose from the cylinder block.



4. REMOVE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, remove the oil pressure switch.
