Exhaust Pipe -- Removal |
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.
- The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
- Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.
1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the exhaust pipe support to remove the tailpipe assembly.
Remove the gasket.
2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the 2 exhaust pipe supports to remove the center exhaust pipe assembly.
Remove the gasket.
3. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR |
Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

Detach the wire harness clamp.
Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor.

4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR |
Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

Detach the wire harness clamp.
Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.

5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolt and 2 compression springs.
Disconnect the exhaust pipe support to remove the front exhaust pipe assembly.
Remove the gasket.
