Oil Pressure Switch -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY |
Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure sensor.
- Adhesive:
- Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent
- NOTICE:
- Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the sensor.
Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, install the oil pressure sensor.
- Torque:
- 15 N*m{153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after the installation.
Connect the engine oil pressure switch connector.
| 2. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK |
Start the engine. Make sure that there are no oil leaks from the areas that were worked on.
