  1. Set SST on the fuel pump gauge retainer.

    09808-14030(09808-01030,09808-01040)
    HINT:
    1. Engage the claws of SST securely with the fuel pump gauge retainer holes to secure SST.
    2. Install SST while pressing the claws of SST against the fuel pump gauge retainer (towards the center of SST).

  1. Using SST, loosen the fuel pump gauge retainer.

    HINT:
    Fit the tips of SST onto the ribs of the fuel pump gauge retainer.
    NOTICE:
    1. When the fuel pump gauge retainer is loosened, be careful as the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly will spring upward from the force of the spring.
    2. Remove any foreign matter around the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly before this operation.

  1. Remove the fuel pump gauge retainer.

  1. Remove the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly from the fuel tank sub-assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to bend the arm of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

  1. Remove the gasket from the fuel tank sub-assembly.
