  1. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

  2. DRAIN FUEL

  3. REMOVE FUEL FILTER COVER

  4. REMOVE LEVEL WARNING SWITCH

Fuel Sedimenter Warning Switch -- Removal



1. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  1. Slide the 4 clamps and disconnect the fuel hose, No. 1 fuel hose sub-assembly, No. 3 fuel hose and No. 2 fuel hose from the fuel filter assembly.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and fuel filter assembly.



2. DRAIN FUEL

  1. Loosen the fuel filter drain plug and drain the fuel from the fuel filter assembly.



3. REMOVE FUEL FILTER COVER


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Detach the level warning switch connector clamp from the fuel filter cap.

  1. Remove the bolt, fuel filter cover and fuel filter gasket from the fuel filter element assembly.



4. REMOVE LEVEL WARNING SWITCH


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Clamp the fuel filter assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the fuel filter cap.
  1. Using pliers, remove the level warning switch.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the level warning switch.
  1. Remove the warning switch gasket from the level warning switch.
