Ignition Coil And Spark Plug Removal
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR
REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
REMOVE SPARK PLUG
Ignition Coil And Spark Plug -- Removal |
1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE |
Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the intake mass air flow meter connector.
Detach the 4 clamps.
Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with air cleaner hose.
2. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR |
Disconnect the air pressure sensor connector.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the air pressure sensor.
Detach the wire harness and vacuum hose from the intake air connector.
Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.
Disconnect the vacuum hose.
Loosen the hose clamp.
Remove the 3 bolts and intake air connector.
3. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the 4 ignition coil connectors.
Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies.
Using a 16 mm spark plug wrench, remove the 4 spark plugs.
