Center Airbag Sensor Assembly Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

Center Airbag Sensor Assembly -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html)
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  1. for Automatic Transmission:

    1. Remove the console box assembly (LandCruiser RM0000046JD008X.html).

  1. for Manual Transmission:

    1. Remove the console box assembly (LandCruiser RM0000046N6006X.html).

  1. w/ Refrigerated Cool Box:

    1. Remove the console box assembly (LandCruiser RM0000046MR00KX.html).



3. REMOVE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and airbag sensor.
