CHECK CONNECTION PROCEDURE OF CONNECTED DEVICE

CHECK USING ANOTHER "Bluetooth" AUDIO COMPATIBLE VEHICLE OF SAME MODEL

REMOVE ADDITIONAL DEVICES WHICH USE RADIO WAVES

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

Some versions of "Bluetooth" compatible audio players may not function properly, or the functions may be limited using the navigation ECU, even if the portable audio player itself can play files. (LandCruiser RM000005K8W00WX.html).

1. Check if the portable player is "Bluetooth" audio compatible.
   

   Result

1. Referring to Owner's Manual, correctly register the portable player.
   

2. Check that the portable player can be registered as a connected device.
   

   HINT:

   The portable player cannot be registered under any of the following conditions:

   1. The A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) is not used when registering a cellular phone.
      
   2. A different portable player registration remains in the navigation ECU.
      
   3. A different navigation ECU registration remains in the portable player.
      
   4. The portable player is off.
      

   OK:

   The portable player has been registered as a connected device.
   

1. Check if the portable player can be registered normally on another "Bluetooth" audio compatible vehicle of the same model.
   

   OK:

   The portable player can be registered.
   

1. Remove additional devices which use radio waves.
   

2. Place the portable player close to the navigation ECU.
   

3. Check that the portable player can be registered as a connected device.
   

   OK:

   The portable player can be registered.
