Clutch Release Cylinder (For 1Gr-Fe) Removal


  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID FROM CLUTCH LINE

  2. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH HOUSING COVER

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER TO ACCUMULATOR TUBE

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

Clutch Release Cylinder (For 1Gr-Fe) -- Removal



1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID FROM CLUTCH LINE


2. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the front propeller shaft (LandCruiser RM00000291R00UX.html).



3. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH HOUSING COVER

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and housing cover.



4. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER TO ACCUMULATOR TUBE

  1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the tube.

    HINT:
    Use a container to catch the fluid.

  1. Remove the bolt and tube.



5. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the clutch release cylinder.
