Control Valve Assembly Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. DISCONNECT HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Control Valve Assembly -- Removal


NOTICE:
  1. Before removal, be sure to disable vehicle height control by pressing the height control OFF switch and confirming that the height control OFF indication is displayed on the meter.
  2. Check the safety of your surroundings and use caution when disconnecting each height control valve air tube as the air in each pneumatic cylinder will be discharged and the vehicle body will lower.


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


2. DISCONNECT HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disconnect the 3 height control tubes (LandCruiser RM000001U54015X.html).

    HINT:
    For the disconnection procedure of the tubes (type 1 and type 2), refer to Precaution of the Suspension Control System section.


3. REMOVE NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 height control valve.
