Navigation Receiver Removal

  1. PRECAUTION

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

Navigation Receiver -- Removal



1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR1006X.html).


2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR300CX.html).


3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY
  1. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

    1. Connect the connectors.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to connect the air conditioner control.

    3. Attach the 10 claws and 4 clips to install the center instrument cluster finish panel.

  1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

    1. Connect the connectors.

    2. Attach the 8 claws and 4 clips to install the center instrument cluster finish panel.



4. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the navigation receiver assembly with bracket.



5. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket from the navigation receiver.



6. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket from the navigation receiver.
