Solenoid Valve (For Fuel Cut Control) -- Inspection



1. INSPECT SOLENOID VALVE ASSEMBLY
  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    18 to 28°C (64 to 82°F)
    20 to 22 Ω
    1 - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher
    2 - Body ground
    If the result is not as specified, replace the solenoid valve assembly.


  1. Check the operation of the solenoid valve assembly.

    1. Check that air does not flow from port E to port F.

    3. Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 2.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the solenoid valve assembly.
