1. PERFORM AIR BLOWING


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Intermittently air blow the air flow meter entrance hole with a pressure of approximately 400 to 1000 kPa (4 to 10 kgf/cm2, 60 to 140 psi) for 30 seconds.

    NOTICE:
    Do not let the tip of the air gun nozzle touch to the air flow meter, and do not insert the tip of the air gun nozzle into the air flow meter entrance hole.


2. INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER

  1. Perform a visual check for any foreign matter on the platinum hot wire (heater) of the mass air flow meter shown in the illustration.

    OK:
    There is no foreign matter.
