1. INSPECT PURGE VSV

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		20°C (68°F)
    		26 to 30 Ω
    1 - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 MΩ or higher
    2 - Body ground
    HINT:
    When measuring the coil resistance, make sure that the surface temperature of the purge VSV is 20°C (68°F).
    If the result is not as specified, replace the purge VSV.

  1. Check operation of the purge VSV.

    1. Check that air does not flow from port E to port F.

    2. Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 2.

    3. Check that air flows from port E to port F.
