  1. INSTALL DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Intercooler)

  3. INSTALL ENGINE COVER BRACKET (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  5. INSTALL INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY (w/ Intercooler)

  6. PERFORM DIESEL THROTTLE BODY INITIALIZATION

Diesel Throttle Body (W/O Dpf) -- Installation



1. INSTALL DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

  1. Install a new gasket and the diesel throttle body with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the 2 connectors.



2. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Intercooler)

  1. Connect the No. 2 air cleaner pipe with the 2 air hoses and install the bolt.

    Torque:
    20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}

  1. Tighten the 2 clamps.

  1. Connect the vacuum hose to the gas filter.

  1. Connect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector.



3. INSTALL ENGINE COVER BRACKET (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  1. Install the engine cover bracket with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    18 N*m{184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}


4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  1. Attach the 4 claws to the pins of the cover bracket and install the No. 1 engine cover.



5. INSTALL INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY (w/ Intercooler)

6. PERFORM DIESEL THROTTLE BODY INITIALIZATION
w/ Intercooler: (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000TIN04FX.html)
w/o Intercooler: (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000TIN04BX.html)
