Starter (For 1.6 Kw Type) Installation

  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

  2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Starter (For 1.6 Kw Type) -- Installation



1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Temporarily install the starter with the bolt.

  1. Temporarily install the clutch flexible hose bracket with the bolt.

  1. Tighten the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the starter wire with the nut.

    Torque:
    9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the terminal cap.

  1. Connect the starter connector.



2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the clutch release cylinder with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    12 N*m{119 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}


3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL

  1. Install the fender seal with the 5 clips.



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR3009X.html).
