DESCRIPTION
The center airbag sensor consists of an airbag sensor, safing sensor, drive circuit, diagnosis circuit, ignition control circuit, etc.If the center airbag sensor receives signals from the airbag sensor, it determines whether the SRS should be activated.DTC B1000/31 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the center airbag sensor.DTC Code

- HINT:
- When a trouble code is output simultaneously with B1000/31, repair the malfunction indicated by the other code first.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR1006X.html).
- When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR300CX.html).
Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Check for DTCs (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000XFE0INX.html).
