DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in a connected device.

  2. USB device with an incompatible file system, corrupted or incompatible File Allocation Table (FAT)
  3. "iPod" malfunction
  4. "iPod" with unsupported firmware
  5. Unsupported "iPod" model
  1. USB device or "iPod"
  2. Extension module

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.REPLACE USB DEVICE OR “iPod”
  1. Disconnect the USB device or "iPod" from the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    HINT:
    When this DTC has been stored, it is necessary to turn off the ignition switch to make it possible for the vehicle to recognize a new device when it is connected.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.

  1. Connect a known good USB device or "iPod" to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.

    HINT:
    1. If the malfunction occurred when a USB device was in use, use another USB device for the inspection. If the malfunction occurred when an "iPod" was in use, use another "iPod" for the inspection.
    2. Refer to System Description for compatible formats and versions (Link).

2.CHECK DTC
  1. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JUX.html).

  1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

    OK:
    No DTCs are output.
