Wireless Door Lock Buzzer Removal
REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR
REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AZ-FE)
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE SIDE MUDGUARD
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER
REMOVE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER
Wireless Door Lock Buzzer -- Removal |
1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR |
Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.
2. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AZ-FE) |
Remove the 4 screws, 4 clips and No. 4 engine under cover.
3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY |
Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

Remove the 2 screws, 2 bolts and 7 clips.
Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.
Put protective tape around the side mudguard.
Remove the 2 clips.
Remove the 3 screws.
Remove the 9 retainers.
Disengage the 8 clips and remove the side mudguard.
6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER |
Remove the 8 clips and 3 screws.
Remove the 3 grommets and the front fender liner.
- HINT:
- The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.
7. REMOVE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER |
Disconnect the connector.
Disconnect the clamp and remove the wireless door lock buzzer.
