Shift Lever -- Disassembly |
| 1. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator housing sub-assembly from the shift lock control unit.
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

| 2. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER |
Remove the shift lock release button cover from the position indicator housing sub-assembly.
| 3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER |
Remove the position indicator slide cover with the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the shift lock control unit.

| 4. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER |
Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.
 |
| 5. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Separate the position indicator light wire socket and connector from the shift lock control unit.
 |
Using a screwdriver, release the stopper.
 |
Using a screwdriver, disengage the locking lug of terminals 7 and 14, and pull the terminals out from the rear of the connector.
| 6. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB |
Remove the bulb and cap from the indicator light wire socket.
| 7. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Separate the connector from the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.

Disengage the 3 claws and the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly from the shift lock control unit.
