  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER

  4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

Front Seat Assembly (For Power Seat) -- Removal



1. PRECAUTION
CAUTION:
  1. Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000KT10H0X.html).
  2. If the side airbag was deployed, replace the separate type front seatback spring assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with a new one.


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


3. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer seat track cover.



4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the inner seat track cover.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the power seat switch knob and move the seatback to the upright position.

  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    CAUTION:
    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000KT10H0X.html).

  1. Disconnect the connectors under the seat.

  1. Remove the seat.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
