Stop Light Switch (For Hatchback)

  1. Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal

  2. Remove instrument panel under cover sub-assembly

  3. Remove stop light switch

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the 2 screws. Yaris

  2. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the instrument panel under cover.



3. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH


Remove the stop light switch connector from the stop light switch. Yaris

  1. Remove the stop light switch connector from the stop light switch.

  1. Turn the stop light switch counterclockwise and remove it. Yaris

  2. Turn the stop light switch counterclockwise and remove it.
