1. INSPECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR


Check the resistance.Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.Standard resistance:TemperatureSpecified ConditionCold985 to 1,600 ΩHot1,265 to 1,890 ΩHINT: In the table above, the terms Cold and Hot refer to the temperature of the coils. Cold means approximately -10 to 50 °C (14 to 122 °F). Hot means approximately 50 to 100 °C (122 to 212 °F).If the resistance is not as specified, replace the crankshaft position sensor. Yaris

  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Temperature
      		Specified Condition
      Cold
      		985 to 1,600 Ω
      Hot
      		1,265 to 1,890 Ω
      HINT:
