1. Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal

2. Remove instrument panel finish panel lower center (for sedan)

3. Remove instrument panel finish panel end lh (for sedan)

4. Remove shift lever knob sub-assembly (for manual transaxle)

5. Remove shifting hole cover sub-assembly (for manual transaxle)

6. Remove upper console panel sub-assembly (for sedan)

7. Remove console upper rear panel sub-assembly (for sedan)

8. Remove console box carpet (for sedan)

9. Remove console box cover rear (for hatchback)

10. Remove console box assembly rear (for hatchback)

11. Remove rear console box assembly (for sedan)

12. Remove instrument pad lower lh (for sedan)

13. Remove heated oxygen sensor

1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel lower center.

1. Disengage the 6 claws and 3 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel end LH.

1. Remove the shift lever knob.

1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the shifting hole cover.

1. Shift the shift lever into the N position.

2. Disengage the 5 clips and the claw and remove the upper console panel.

1. Disengage the 3 clips and 3 claws.

2. Disconnect the connector and remove the console upper rear panel.

1. Remove the console box carpet.

1. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the console box rear cover.

1. Remove the bolt and disengage the 2 clips to remove the console box.

1. Disconnect the clamp.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

3. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear console box.

1. Remove screw <I>.

2. Disengage the claw and 3 clips and remove the instrument panel pad lower.

1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

2. Remove the grommet and pass the sensor connector out of the cabin through the floor panel.

3. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen No. 2 sensor.
