Instrument Panel Safety Pad

  1. Remove side no. 1 defroster nozzle duct

  2. Remove side no. 2 defroster nozzle duct

  3. Remove defroster nozzle assembly

  4. Remove no. 1 heater to register duct

  5. Remove no. 3 heater to register duct

  6. Remove no. 2 heater to register duct

  7. Remove no. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly (for lhd)

  8. Remove no. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly (for rhd)

  9. Remove front passenger airbag assembly

  10. Remove glove box light assembly

  11. Remove plasmacluster (w/ plasmacluster)

1. REMOVE SIDE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
  1. Remove the screw <F> and the side No. 1 defroster nozzle duct. Camry

  2. Remove the screw <F> and the side No. 1 defroster nozzle duct.



2. REMOVE SIDE NO. 2 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
  1. Remove the screw <F> and the side No. 2 defroster nozzle duct. Camry

  2. Remove the screw <F> and the side No. 2 defroster nozzle duct.



3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the 3 screws <F> and the defroster nozzle assembly. Camry

  2. Remove the 3 screws <F> and the defroster nozzle assembly.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
  1. Remove the 3 screws <F> and the No. 1 heater to register duct. Camry

  2. Remove the 3 screws <F> and the No. 1 heater to register duct.



5. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
  1. Remove the 3 screws <F> and the No. 3 heater to register duct. Camry

  2. Remove the 3 screws <F> and the No. 3 heater to register duct.



6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
  1. Remove the 2 screws <F> and the No. 2 heater to register duct. Camry

  2. Remove the 2 screws <F> and the No. 2 heater to register duct.



7. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Disengage the 6 clamps and clip and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.


    Disengage the 6 clamps and clip and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly. Camry



8. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  1. Disengage the 6 clamps and clip and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

9. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the 2 screws. Camry

  2. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the front passenger airbag assembly from the instrument panel safety pad assembly. Camry

  2. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the front passenger airbag assembly from the instrument panel safety pad assembly.



10. REMOVE GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY
  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the glove box light assembly. Camry

  2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the glove box light assembly.



11. REMOVE PLASMACLUSTER (w/ Plasmacluster)
  1. Remove the 2 screws and Plasmacluster. Camry

  2. Remove the 2 screws and Plasmacluster.
