Luggage Compartment Door - Disassembly(2007/12 - 2009/01)

1. Remove luggage compartment door assist grip (w/ assist grip)

2. Remove luggage compartment door cover

3. Remove luggage compartment door lock assembly

4. Remove luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly

5. Remove luggage compartment outside door garnish sub-assembly

6. Remove rear light assembly lh

7. Remove rear light assembly rh

8. Remove license plate light assembly lh

9. Remove license plate light assembly rh

1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and open the assist grip cover.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

1. Using a clip remover, remove the 13 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

1. Disconnect the rod.

2. Disconnect the connector.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and luggage compartment door lock assembly.

1. Disconnect the cable and connector.

2. Remove the 2 nuts and the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

1. Put protective tape around the luggage compartment door outside garnish.

2. Remove the 3 nuts.

3. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips and remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish.

1. Disconnect the connector and clamp.

2. Remove the 3 nuts.

3. Disengage the clip and remove the rear light assembly.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the license plate light assembly as shown in the illustration.
