Front Seat Assembly (For Manual Seat) - Disassembly(2006/01 - 2007/12)

1. Remove vertical adjuster cover lh (for driver seat)

2. Remove vertical adjusting handle no. 2 (for driver seat)

3. Remove reclining adjuster release handle

4. Remove front seat cushion shield

5. Remove lower seat track spacer

6. Remove front seat inner belt assembly

7. Remove front inner seat cushion shield

8. Remove front separate type seat cushion cover with pad

9. Remove front separate type seat cushion cover

10. Remove front seatback board sub-assembly

11. Remove front seat headrest support

12. Remove front seat headrest support

13. Remove front separate type seatback cover with pad

14. Remove front separate type seatback cover

15. Remove front seat side airbag assembly

16. Remove reclining adjuster inside cover lh

17. Remove reclining adjuster inside cover rh

18. Remove reclining adjuster inside cover lh

19. Remove reclining adjuster inside cover rh

20. Remove front lower seat cushion shield lh

21. Remove front lower seat cushion shield rh

22. Remove seat position sensor (for driver seat)

NOTICE:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the vertical adjuster cover LH.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle.

1. Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.

2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

2. Remove the 3 screws.

3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield.

1. Remove the 2 screws and lower seat track spacer.

1. for Driver seat:
   

   1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the 4 clamps.

2. for Passenger seat:
   

   1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the 3 clamps.

3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Disengage the claw and clip, and then remove the front inner seat cushion shield.

1. Disengage the clamp.

2. Disengage the hooks and remove the front separate type seat cushion cover with pad.

1. Remove the 16 hog rings and front separate type seat cushion cover.

1. Remove the 2 screws.

2. Disconnect the 14 clamps and front separate type seatback cover.

3. Pull the seat back board in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the 2 claws. Then, remove the seatback board.

1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the headrest support.

1. Disengage the 3 hooks.

2. Remove the 2 hog rings.

3. Remove the nut and separate the 2 brackets.

4. Remove the front separate type seatback cover with pad.

1. Remove the 10 hog rings and front separate type seatback cover.

1. Disengage the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

2. Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

3. Remove the 2 nuts and front seat side airbag assembly.

   CAUTION:

   1. The nuts must not be reused.
      
   2. Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
      

1. Disconnect the clamp.

2. Remove the screw.

3. Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Using a "TORX" socket (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

3. Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
