Front Seat Assembly (For Power Seat) - Disassembly(2006/01 - 2007/12)

1. Remove reclining power seat switch knob

2. Remove slide and vertical power seat switch knob

3. Remove front seat cushion shield assembly

4. Remove front inner no. 1 seat cushion shield

5. Remove front lumbar power seat switch

6. Remove front seat inner belt assembly

7. Remove front inner seat cushion shield

8. Remove lower seat track spacer

9. Remove front power seat switch

10. Remove front separate type seat cushion cover with pad

11. Remove front separate type seat cushion cover

12. Remove front seatback board sub-assembly

13. Remove front seat headrest support

14. Remove front seat headrest support

15. Remove front separate type seatback cover with pad

16. Remove front separate type seatback cover

17. Remove lumbar support adjuster assembly

18. Remove front seat side airbag assembly

19. Remove reclining adjuster inside cover rh

20. Remove reclining adjuster inside cover lh

21. Remove seat reclining adjuster inside cover rh

22. Remove seat reclining adjuster inside cover lh

23. Remove front lower seat cushion shield lh

24. Remove front lower seat cushion shield

25. Remove seat position sensor (for driver side)

26. Remove front seat wire

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

1. Using a screwdriver, detach the reclining power seat switch knob.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Using a screwdriver, detach the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Disconnect the 2 hooks.

2. Remove the 5 screws.

3. Disengage the claw and separate the front seat cushion shield assembly.

4. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield.

1. Remove the 2 screws and front lumbar power seat switch.

1. for Driver seat:
   

   1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the 4 clamps.

2. for Passenger seat:
   

   1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the 3 clamps.

3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Using a clip remover, detach the clip.

3. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the front inner seat cushion shield.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Remove the 2 screws and lower seat track spacer.

1. Remove the 3 screws.

2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch.

1. Disconnect the 2 clamps.

2. Remove the 4 hooks.

3. Using a screwdriver, detach the hooks and remove the front separate type seat cushion cover with pad.

1. Remove the 16 hog rings and front separate type seat cushion cover from the front separate type seat cushion pad.

1. Remove the 2 screws.

2. Disconnect the 14 clamps and front separate type seatback cover.

3. Pull the seatback board in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the 2 claws. Then, remove the seatback board.

1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the headrest support.

1. Remove the 2 hog rings and 3 hooks.

2. Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.

3. Remove the front separate type seatback cover with pad.

1. Remove the 10 hog rings and front separate type seatback cover from the front separate type seatback pad.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the 2 screws and lumbar support adjuster assembly.

1. Disconnect the 4 wire harness clamps from under the seat.

2. Disconnect the 2 clamps.

3. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly.

   CAUTION:

   1. The nuts must not be reused.
      
   2. Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
      

1. Disconnect the harness.

2. Remove the 2 screws and reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

1. Disconnect the harness.

2. Remove the 2 screws and reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Detach the claw and remove the seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Detach the claw and remove the seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

1. Remove the screw and detach the hook of the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Using a "TORX" socket (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

3. Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
