  1. Remove spare tire

  2. Remove charcoal canister no. 2 filter

  3. Remove charcoal canister assembly

1. REMOVE SPARE TIRE


2. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER NO. 2 FILTER
  1. Disconnect the canister outlet hose No. 2 from the charcoal canister.Deeply push the connector inside.Pinch portion A.Pull out the connector. 4Runner

  2. Disconnect the canister outlet hose No. 2 from the charcoal canister.

    1. Deeply push the connector inside.

    2. Pinch portion A.

    3. Pull out the connector.

  1. Disconnect the canister outlet hose from the fuel tank filler pipe.

  1. Remove a bolt and the charcoal canister filter. 4Runner

  2. Remove a bolt and the charcoal canister filter.



3. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
  1. Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.Deeply push the connector inside.Pinch portion A.Pull out the connector. 4Runner

  2. Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.

    1. Deeply push the connector inside.

    2. Pinch portion A.

    3. Pull out the connector.

  1. Disconnect the canister outlet hose No. 2 from the charcoal canister.

    1. Deeply push the connector inside.

    2. Pinch portion A.

    3. Pull out the connector.

  1. Disconnect the VSV connector from the CCV.

  1. Disconnect the purge line hose from the charcoal canister.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and the charcoal canister from the body.
