  1. Inspect circuit opening relay

1. INSPECT CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY


Check the resistance.Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.Resistance:Tester ConnectionSpecified Condition3 - 510 kΩ or higher3 - 5Below 1 Ω(Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2)If the result is not as specified, replace the circuit opening relay. 4Runner

  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Specified Condition
      3 - 5
      		10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 5
      		Below 1 Ω
      (Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2)
      If the result is not as specified, replace the circuit opening relay.
